1. Choose the one of our studios you prefer the most. Additionally, you can choose one alternative studio.

2. Prepare your documents

letter of motivation
digital portfolio - maximum size 15 MB
copy of the biographical page of passport (only students who are going to apply for a visa)

3. Fill in the online application form and upload all required documents.

Please note that not all nominated students who apply to our university are guaranteed a place. Admission is based on the portfolio and artistic quality and the number of spaces available in individual studios.

Renovation of the main UMPRUM building during the academic years 2025/26 and 2026/27

Our main university building will be undergoing an extensive renovation during the next two academic years. Since the main building at Palachovo náměstí is where most studios are located, we are in the midst of assuring their relocation to other premises. At this moment, however, it is still unclear to what extent our temporary premises will fit our requirements. It is likely that due to the limitations of space, we will not be able to guarantee the same study experience as before. We remain committed to our obligations but we also believe that the students wishing to come to UMPRUM need the full picture for their informed decision.
