Theory and History of Modern and Contemporary Art

- Structure of curriculum: in the form of regular lectures on theoretical disciplines and a semester-long participation in the chosen UMPRUM studio
- Graduation examinations: final state examination in the history of modern and contemporary art, final state examination in the theory of modern and contemporary art, defense of master’s thesis
- Award to be conferred: Master (Mgr.)
The follow-up master’s degree program is aimed at the acquisition of theoretical knowledge regarding modern and contemporary art, architecture and design, on mastering application of this knowledge and on developing the capacity for creative activities in the said field. The course is conceived to expand and deepen the knowledge and skills that students have acquired during bachelor’s studies of the history of art and related fields.
