Do you need a crash course in modernist artistic production? Let's start with interwar Czechoslovakia! The new republic was striving to live up to the ideals of modernity, equality, and progressivity. During the lecture, we will explore the architectural movements of Cubism, National Style, and Functionalism, and we will be seeking analogs in the broader artistic production.
The online lectures is organized for all international students studying in Prague by the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design (UMPRUM) and Study in Prague (SIP).
