The Utopian Impulse; from the Planet to Prague

Join us on October 20th from 11am to 7pm for a full day of learning, exploring and sharing ideas about future architectures. With a keynote lecture by professor Eva Franch, and special presentations by the A2/FAP students on their ongoing work and research, the day will start with one on one consultations and a meet and greet session and end with a Speed Dating Portfolio session where you can get feedback on your ongoing work and ideas by students, alumni and professors from UMPRUM.

11.00-12.30pm Private consultations with Prospective Students (reserve a time slot via this link) 

!12.30-1.00pm A2 Studio. Meet and greet prospective students with current students.

1.00pm to 2.30pm: Lecture by Eva Franch on Model vs Utopian Architectures in the studio lounge followed by Q&A. Open to all and a good opportunity for prospective students to ask about the studio and the school. 

2.30-3.00pm Coffee Break

3.00pm to 5.00pm: A2 Studio: Student presentations of Co-Exist / Shelter projects documentation, models and prototypes to prospective students. 

5.00-6.00pm: A2 Hallway. Pin up and open discussion on Utopian projects (Co-Histories) by current students and prospective students. 

6.00-7.00pm Speed Dating Portfolio. A2 Studio. Come and join current students and Eva Franch for an open discussion on portfolios, architecture, and any question you might have through a Speed Dating portfolio session. Students willing to participate will receive feedback from multiple students, alumni and colleagues of A2 Future Architectures Platform. Places are limited. Please sign up HERE.
