Projects are an increasingly important component for the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague (UMPRUM), they help to implement mainly scientific research, artistic and applied research.
The goal of the UMPRUM Grant Department is to provide information, administrative and methodological support for scientific research and development projects. Our main providers of projects and grants currently include:
Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, specifically the program ÉTA. These projects aim to test innovative processes or products from different areas;
Grant Agency of the Czech Republic, supporting primarily fundamental scientific research;
The Ministry of Culture currently provides UMPRUM, with two project calls. Národní a kulturní identity (NAKI) is a program focused on art research that supports the applied research and development of national and cultural identity.
The Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports are where UMPRUM draws on the call of the Operational Program Research, Development, and Education (OPVVV) focused on the support of universities.
