VALERIE VRBOVÁ - L’air de l’eau

3rd year BcA.

I based my collection on the dreams of the French surrealist poet and novelist André Breton (1896—1966). During my work I let myself be carried away by the pure psychic automatism that is typical of surrealism, and let the feelings and words in the poems flow. The poems evoke in me a certain kind of delicacy, melancholy and transparency. The result is a collection depicting the flow of our thoughts, contrasting the solidity and hardness of our nature.
