Symposium: Fragile Forms, Resistant Forms
On 4 - 8 May, Studio of Fine Arts I will hold a public symposium entitled Fragile Forms, Resistant Forms at the PLATO Ostrava Gallery. In addition to a process exhibition, the symposium will include workshops, performances, lectures and other events.
The project Fragile Forms, Resilient Forms focuses on an interdisciplinary exploration of vulnerability and fragility in art. Through a public symposium, exhibition and publication, it aims to create a vibrant temporary platform for research into art and social forms related to these themes. Vulnerability is formulated in the project as a fluid and often ambivalent space in which complex individual and social narratives intertwine and collide, and which is continuously modelled by the political, social and environmental crises of the present.
