Supervisors of Doctoral Thesis
In the doctoral porgramme students study under the guidance of a supervising lecturer. Supervisors are usually heads of one the UMPRUM studios.
The school is divided into the departments of Architecture, Fine Arts, Graphics, Design and Applied Arts. This corresponds to the disciplines you can study at UMPRUM within your doctoral studies. Each department is divided into studios according to their specialist area. All studios at UMPRUM are led by leading figures of the Czech art scene.
The list of supervisors can be found bellow and it is structured by departments (in the list, supervisors from the Applied Arts Department are listed under the "Design" section) . Contacts for supervisors and descripition of each studios can be found under the Department section of UMPRUM website.
It is recommended to consult individual dissertation topic proposals with potential supervisors well in advance.
Supervisors listed under the Department of History and Theory of Arts are not intended for the Visual Arts Ph.D. Program.
