ALEXANDRA GNIDIAKOVÁ - Pierrot le fou

“Pierrot le Fou” collection was inspired by Jean-Babtiste Gaspard Deburau (1796—1846) and a novel by František Kožík called The Great Debureau. Deburau was a French mime and an actor, born in Bohemia. Each model in the collection represents a particular period in his life, starting from a small clumsy boy born into a humble family of wandering acrobats up to the 19th century ́s most prominent mime.
