KRISTÝNA LOVAS ŠENKÝŘOVÁ - The Many Faces of One Woman

When I hear the word France, I think of a woman of refined taste
and incredible charisma, just like Colette was at the times she lived in. My collection is inspired by the personality of Sidonie—Gabriel Colette (1873—1954). The distinguished French writer inspires me with her versatile approach to her own life. The way she lived created the concept of an independent, modern, and free-thinking woman. She had a close relationship with fashion and she herself participated in its creation and representation. She became an independent, confident woman writer, which lasted almost till the end of her life. In my collec- tion I am compiling all these life periods of hers, the essence of her rich life.
